How it works: 1, Set up your rotating laser. 2, Adjust the laser receiver on the mast equal to the height of the laser above the desired grade (HI). 3, Go: As the laser receiver Intercepts the laser light it will indicate “HIGH”,“LOW” or "ON GRADE".To Start: "Ignore the Laser Horn", grade as you did previously. Use the Laser Horn only as grade checker until your peripheral vision comes into play. Then the speed will come! Time and labor are reduced; grade can be accomplished with out a rod man; one pass DONE! Accuracy:
The "ON GRADE" on most MC receivers is adjustable from
1/4" to 1/2" accuracy.
